Kootney Resorts is located in Picard, Portsmouth, Dominica approximately an 8 minute walk from Ross Medical University.
We offer stylish, open floor plan, One and Two bedroom apartments, cottage and villa style.
Kootney holds a very high standard on accommodations and customer service, which is demonstrated in the design and management.
All apartments consist of fully equipped full scaled kitchens, large living area, and spacious bathrooms, with sunken bath tubs/showers, large walk-in closets and comfortable bedrooms with king size beds in the One bedrooms and queen size in the Two bedrooms. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and offer private patios. All apartments are equipped with solar water heaters, TV cable and high speed fiber optic internet.
For the Tenants convenience there is also a fully equipped BBQ Gazebo and once a week free housekeeping supplied.
The area surrounding the apartments is landscaped with various tropical plants, flowers, fauna and fruit trees such as grapefruit, lime, oranges, pears, tangerines and bananas.
In order to help you adjust to a new environment, when you arrive we take you for your first large shopping and show you where the other pertinent businesses and interests are located.
At the beginning of each semester, we hold a cocktail party so that the new tenants may meet the old tenants. The party is held at our home where we also have a bonfire and music.
